I've been a fan of Pokemon Gen 5 since 2010, and many people who have been around that long feel the same: I do not subscribe to the main cast's ages in Bulbapedia because their references are taken out of context & uncredible years later after the games' release.I will not get mad at people not knowing this and seeing them as 14 and 20. If you aren't comfortable with me seeing the protag as 16 and N as 18, please don't interact with me at all. Please read this post for my stance.- ....You support the ff: sexism, racism, incest, pedophilia/ephebophilia, any form of LGBTQ+ discrimination- You think aromantic / asexual people don't exist, and/or not deserving to be recognized as LGBTQ+ because they're not as "oppressed".- You support and uncritically use generative AI content.- You believe it's more acceptable to harass and accuse people to be immoral over their fictional interests rather than ignoring/muting/blocking them. I dislike nsfw and "problematic" content (see first bullet) as they make me very uncomfortable and stay away from such, but I also do not support judging and attacking people over fiction and media regardless if you are anti or pro. I will take measures to keep a distance if you actively participate in this.

- If I post art of the Pokemon protagonists, they're most likely tagged and in the context of our Protagverse/headcanon, and not general fandom perception (unless I use the official names).- Our protagverse is a project for fun with me and my sis. We appreciate little suggestions, but please respect that it's mainly a personal thing between us as a way of bonding first and foremost, and I just wanted to share art I make for it.-If you aren't comfortable with any of our views, please feel free to not engage with my content.

There are two timelines we simultaneously follow: our own based on how we played the games (the "present"), and the actual one most agreed upon in the games (the "future"). You can view our verse as a crossover that disregards points in time.- Because of this, we might appear to follow our own universe and age depictions with the protags in the "present", and can be different from how others see theirs. (more details in link)- Their base ages are rooted to their most probable canon ages within the "official" Pokemon timeline, so there is no "aging-up" involved except the following:1) the GB era trainers @ 17 (to reflect their "senior status"), and,
2) the BW protags from *14 to 16 (the latter stated as the original intention behind their designs).This is for what we believe makes most sense to us design and story-wise.---- Please ask for context if you have any concerns, we are constantly mindful of what we promote. I would be very glad to explain and know how my work is coming across to others. I do not support problematic content, which you can see in my DNI section.---RE: the BW protags' age, "14" is taken from an interview about the anime, about Cheren's age. As none of this information was intended or revealed in the games, I do not subscribe with how the information was presented on Bulbapedia, which the current fandom takes as undisputed info these days. - I depict my protagverse content in the verse "present" unless otherwise stated. No ships are serious until only in their future/"real-time" incarnations with their proper ages in the proper flow of time, in Sun/Moon as reference (akin to Alola Red and Blue).- Do feel free to ask more about our protags or share your own protag headcanons! Our timeline stuff can be quite complicated at a glance too, so feel free to ask me to expand and explain more on it too.
